Beautiful New Barkas!

Traveling through the Holy Lands means a whole new and interesting wardrobe. Snoop has started a business designing these fabulous “barkas” so that we can travel as culturally sensitive fashion icons. Her barkas come in many styles and colors and are incredibly versatile. Other uses when traveling with a barka are: hammocks, blankets, baby slings, beach wraps and super long belts. I recommend getting several.

Miss Peach commissioned this in my honor!

I am so fortunate to have friends in the industry who appreciate my work as a fashionista. Miss Peach commissioned the great artist, Queen Snickers, to do this Warholesque piece in my honor. To have a friend like Miss Peach is one thing, and to also have someone with the reputation of Queen Snickers take her time to express my true personality in such a thoughtful and artistic way is overwhelming. I feel like Gertrude Stein dining with Picasso, Matisse and Cezanne all at the same time, which she did occasionally. You should really check out the Alice B. Toklas Cookbook if you ever run across it. There is a recipe called “Bass for Picasso,” which is simply divine. I love bass almost as much I as love Queen Snickers painting. Thank you Miss Peach and Queen Snickers. I will simply HAVE to pick up something special for both of you next time I’m in Versaille.

Gaultier or Hermès, Handbags are the Rage!

Ah Paris! Bella met us at l’Hotel du Chat and she was already basking in the glow of her new handbags. By the time we had arrived she had already picked up this sleek black Prada bag, along with some dainty evening purses while checking out La Petit Robe Noir, Colette, and Didier Ludot. She’s a glutton for French fashion and just adores the tuna crepes that they serve at Philippe & Max. Bella has a French boyfriend named Jean Paul Godard-MonChat. Snoop and I refer to him as "La Grand Granouille," but he doesn’t know that, and it just makes Bella angry.

Nous Allons a Paris Maintenant!

My dog, Snoop, and I are ready to peruse Le Louvre in our finest attire. Snoop is sporting a black feather boa, and mink beret. She always looks fashionable when she goes out of town and Paris is our favorite shopping spot as we are allowed to sit in the finest restaurants, dining on filet mignon and smoking cigarettes with our café au lait. Snoop gets a little nervous when we fly so I gave her some xanax and a Kettle One martini so she should be fine. She always gives me her anchovy stuffed olives so it’s a win win for me.
